Introduction

For 2008 there will be no training courses taking place at the home of Peco. However our tutor, Dr Michael Watts, has planned a number of new courses, which will be held in Kidlington, Oxfordshire.

Railway Modelling for beginners and returnees of all ages (over 18)

Two 1-day introductory courses available, Sunday 16th March and Saturday 29th March

Subjects include:

End-to-end or tail-chaser?
What are the best points for me?
What type of train control is best?
Extend train set to model railway

Railway Modelling for beginners and returnees of all ages (over 18)

3-day training courses. There are four 3-day training courses:

25 – 27 April Trackwork – Basics
20 – 22 June DCC – Basics
15 – 17 August DCC – Decoder Programming
26 – 28 September Electrical - Basics

These are hands-on learning by doing courses.
