Colouring competitions, quizzes, story reading and book
signing by Margaret Edmonds, author of the Teddy Mac series
of children's books based on the adventures of a teddy bear
on the Beer Heights Light Railway. |

Children's entertainment daily with Shows at 12 noon, all

Days
Christopher Awdry, current author of
the Thomas the Tank Engine books will be at Pecorama for
story reading and book signing on both days. Entertainment
at 12 noon and unlimited rides on the railway for Bargain

Our annual event for charity with gate
receipts given to a local worthy cause. Children's entertainment,
folk dancing and cream teas to piano music on the terrace.

August Bank Holiday Special Events
A Bank Holiday weekend of special attractions,
sponsored by PECO, brand leader in the manufacture of model
railway track. To include a live steam miniature
traction engine display, guest locomotive son the Beer
Heights Light Railway, continuous live steam demonstrations
by the 16 mm Association on the SM32 layout, Circus Skills
Workshops, live music and entertainment. |

PECO Loco Week
The busiest time of the year for the Beer Heights Light
Railway with the entire Peco fleet of steam, diesel and battery
powered locomotives in operation, assisted by guest locos
in running an intensive train service. Also regular
trips on the tram shuttle to the Beer Mine branch. |
